The day is approaching. There are exactly 7 days until I fly out for Germany. I can officially say that I am overcome by the excitement. I have slowly been packing throughout the past month, but today something came over me and I spent 2 hours packing nearly everything I don't need to survive. The only reason I stopped was because I ran out of totes... Everything is ready. I move out Saturday afternoon. Yay!!!!!!!!
I recently got an email about roommate assignments. I'm in a 5-person room with four other girls (Bailie, Kaylee, Julia, and Ashley). I thought I'd throw the names out there. All I know is that Bailie goes to this campus and Kaylee goes to Denver. I'm pretty sure that the other two go to Providence. And that's all I have to say about that...

I was at work the other day and one of my advisors, Sarah, gave me one of those little Dove chocolates with the cliché, fortune-cookie sayings inside. These are the ones I got:
Sarah said, "Those are literally going to be your mottos while you're in Germany," which is very true. I'm going to do my best to do something new and exciting at least once every day. I'm going to make the best of this experience and I'm not wasting any time. *Pats self on back*
Well, that's all of the new information I have. I am slowly recovering from the things discussed in my last post. It will all be okay. I know that... but I didn't just lose my boyfriend. I lost my best friend and that's the hardest part. All I can do is try to keep myself happy. I'm just going to keep my head down and work towards my own advancement. Things can only get better from here. Germany will be my fresh start and I can't wait to get away for a while. When I get back, I'll have a clean slate and that's honestly all I want at this point...
Things are looking up...
