Hey, it's Trisha.
I am attending Johnson and Wales University for my Bachelor's in Food Service Entrepreneurship.
I will be spending the Spring of 2015 abroad in Germany. Given that I have US Cellular (not Germany Cellular) and limited time to spend on the internet just to chat with everyone, I thought that I'd simply spill everything into one place and let you all read it whenever you are curious about what I've been up to.
I am starting the postings now because I am slowly getting information about the trip and I think if I hold it all in, I might burst.
We had our orientation this morning. Our wonderful Study Abroad Advisor on campus is Ms. Tracy Brener. She is the one that led the presentation. There are 6 people going from the Charlotte campus. Two are a little reserved, one has a personality big enough to have her own TV show, and the other two are a couple. So, it'll be interesting to see how everyone blends together once we're there.
Bonus info: There are 24 people total from all four of the campuses(Charlotte, Providence, Denver, and Miami).
ANYWAYS. We talked about everything from class to food to transportation to laundry. It was very insightful and has made me realize that I'm ACTUALLY going. The whole time there was a voice in my head saying, "Trisha, this is for real. You're seriously going. Your dad literally bought a plane ticket yesterday. It's happening."
So, it's safe to say that the process has started. There are 32 days until I will be boarding a plane to Europe and starting the greatest trip of my life thus far.
Once I get to Berlin, I hope to post here at least once a week, if not more. There will be a plethora of things to share with you guys. I'm sure I won't have a good day every day, though, so be prepared for an emotional, exciting, and picture-filled blog.
I hope you're reading, whoever you are, because you're not going to want to miss this.
